It’s well known that 70% of major change efforts in organisations fail. It’s less well known that 70% of these failures are due to the organisation’s inability to adopt the required behaviours quickly and completely, not because the initiative itself was substandard (Beer and Nohria, eds., Breaking the Code of Change).
We work with transformation directors, senior executives with responsibility for transformation, and other change leaders to create and deliver transformation programmes with an emphasis on cultural change.
The backdrop for such programmes is typically one of significant organisational change, such as following a merger, management buyout, private-equity-led turnaround, major consultancy project, or the articulation of a new strategic direction.
